What can Latinos add to American Soccer?
- Latinos are known to be very passionate about sports, but more specifically soccer.
- A lot of Latin American countries are amongst the best soccer national teams in the entire world. Countries like Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and, Uruguay.
- Latinos could also have a positive influence in American Soccer off the field as well. This could consist of more Latino commentators, journalists and reporters.
First lets see how a Spanish style of commentary compares to that of an English style. I had two people watch the 2 clips and give me their honest opinions on both styles. To make sure I had more accurate results I had one guests who was really into soccer while the other guest was not that into sports at all.
Now that we have seen how a Spanish style of commentary could be popular within people, the question remains, why is it that we do not see more Latinos take part in American Soccer? Lets try to find out why with the Infographic below.
